Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, or MSN email account

September 30, 2023

As of today, all of our mission emails being sent to Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, or MSN email accounts are being blocked by Microsoft.  We had this problem previously and were finally able to correct it, however at this point the issue has not been resolved.  Please note that this is NOT a PGRNY issue, but an issue with the Microsoft servers.

At this point users are urged to set up a FREE gmail account to receive your PGRNY Mission emails.

Or visit our HOME page of our website to review current missions.

We are experiencing an issue with AT&T emails.  They have blocked us as sending SPAM.  We have initiated a case with them to have this resolved.  But in the meantime you will need to check our website for all Missions within your Region.

Our recommendation as always, is to set up a FREE gmail account to receive your PGRNY Mission emails.

We believe the issue with Outlook, MSN, Hotmail and Live email type accounts has been resolved.  For members who received an "unsubscribed" notice between October 21 -24, 2022, your email addresses have been added back to the Region lists where you were originally subscribed.  As always, if you continue to have any issues receiving your Mission emails, first check your Spam/Junk mail folders.  Also consider adding filters so that future emails will not go to Spam/Junk mail folders.  Be aware in this day and age, all email carriers are constantly upgrading their internal spam filters which could affect emails from getting to your in-box.  If you still experience issues please contact us.  Thank you.

We are experiencing issues sending emails to any member with email accounts such as Hotmail, MSN, and Outlook.  Microsoft owns these email types and are blocking our emails.  This means you will not receive your expected Mission emails.  We are working to resolve the situation, however there are no guarantees this can happen.

Our recommendation is to set up a FREE gmail account to receive your PGRNY Mission emails. Or you can view current missions on our home page of our website by clicking the blue button on our banner picture. These are listed in Region order.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Region 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 Roadrunner/Time Warner/Spectrum

December 11, 2021

The situation with Spectrum bouncing our Mission emails to you has continued.  At this point many of you will start receiving notices that your email account is being dropped from our system.  This is an automated response from our mailing system on our server.

Our recommendation is to set up a FREE gmail account to receive your PGRNY Mission emails.  Or you can view current missions on our home page of our website by clicking the blue button on our banner picture.  These are listed in Region order.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Region 1, 2, & 3 Roadrunner/Spectrum/Charter email accounts

October 26, 2021

We are experiencing problems with Spectrum/Charter delivering our PGRNY.org Mission emails to you. It is impossible to contact a person at Spectrum/Charter to rectify the issue.

After 5 attempts to deliver emails, our system will drop the members email address as being undeliverable.

Our recommendation is to set up a FREE gmail.com email account to receive your PGRNY Missions.

Region 9 Optonline.net Email Accounts

November 2020

We have been trying to work with Optimum for a few months now to correct the non-delivery to Optonline customers to no avail in Region 9 for those members with Optonline.net email addresses.

Our recommendation at this point in time is that you setup a FREE gmail.com email account.

The best way to stay up to date on missions in your Region is to check "CURRENT MISSIONS" found on our home page.

Thank you for your patience.

Region 9 Optonline accounts:

April 23, 2020

Our Mission emails are not being delivered to some PGRNY Region 9 members.  The emails are 'timing out' after several attempts to be sent to your email addresses.  We believe, based on codes we receive, that because of the increase in internet usage, this is causing problems for Optonline.  We are continuing to contact the IPS to obtain clarification on this issue.

The best way to stay up to date on missions in your Region is to check "CURRENT MISSIONS" found on our home page.

Thank you for your patience.

Prevent emails going to Spam

April 8, 2020

How to help prevent our Mission Emails from going into your SPAM/JUNK folder.

Simply add pgrnyrX@pgrny.org to your contact/address book.

'X' should be replaced with the region number you have signed up to receive Mission Emails.

All email systems are constantly updating their email spam filters.  This includes all the popular email providers: gmail, yahoo, AOL, etc.  By adding our email address, Mission Emails 'from' address, you will assist the filters in not sending our emails to your SPAM/JUNK mail folders.

If you still are having problems receiving our emails, please contact the webmaster@pgrny.org

Be sure to include what Region you are in and we will assist in correcting any issues preventing emails from reaching you.

Please also be aware:  If you are having us send your email to a business or government address, you should speak with your IT department and ask them to allow our emails.  Some IT departments will automatically stop domain emails from entering their systems.

UPDATE - Spectrum/Charter Communications

January 2, 2020

What is happening

After a few phone calls and some time, we were able to find out the following regarding why Time Warner/Spectrum/Charter Communication customers did not or are not receiving Mission Emails. This is temporary, but length of time for this issue is not known.

Spectrum/Charter Communications are in the process of updating their systems. This has caused emails to be non-deliverable in some cases or delayed in you receiving emails. Once they complete their update to an area, the email then starts working correctly to accept our Mission emails.

As recommended before, Gmail email accounts are a good way to ensure you will receive Mission Emails in a timely fashion. If you elect to set up a new Gmail account, please be sure to request an address change in our PGRNY mailing system.

Spectrum/Charter Communications are experiencing sporadic outages

January 1, 2020

So what does that mean to our members?

If you have a Roadrunner/Spectrum/Charter Communications email account, you may not be receiving Mission emails.  This has nothing to do with our mailing system.  This is an issue being caused by the sporadic outages.  Our mailing system will continue to try and deliver your email to you.  HOWEVER, every time that the Mission email to your specific email 'bounces' back to our system as undeliverable, your email has points added to it.  When the points become high enough, our system will send you an email asking whether you wish to remain active.  All you need to do is click reply to THAT email making no changes or additions to it.  That will ensure your email remains as an active membership account.

We recommend that members set up a gmail account for Patriot Guard Riders of New York communications.  To date, we have not experienced any issues with gmail.

Should you have any issues and need help, please send an email to webmaster@pgrny.org

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
