I want to thank the Patriot Guard Riders for your presence this past Tuesday at the funeral home and mission for escorting my father, Thomas E Walton's, casket to the cemetery. I am part of the Honor Guard for the Sons of the American Legion at Post 928, Derby, and have attended many wakes and funerals in that capacity. Being on the receiving end of the honors was very moving for me and many of the attendees at his service.
I would also like to inquire about buying a second plaque that was presented to our family at the graveside. His sister, who lives in Washington state has asked to keep with her, my siblings and I would like something closer so we can display.
