I can't thank you and the other Patriot Guard Riders enough for taking time to escort my uncle's funeral today. My uncle, Charles Flynn, was a proud American who served active duty in the Pacific during World War II. He would have been honored to have had the opportunity to meet each and every one of you.
I regret that circumstances today did not allow me to thank each of you, because the dignity that you displayed for your fellow veteran was heartfelt and inspiring.
My family is in your debt.
