About the Mission:

This is the opening ceremony for Team Eva which runs seven marathons over seven days to raise monies for many charities on Long Island that help veterans and veteran causes. This first marathon is in honor of Gold Star Parents who will be in attendance. During the Marathon, they stop at the graves of the fallen and monuments dedicated to the fallen. This is a very worthy veteran-related event. The ceremony starts at 10am

Meet RC Mike for instructions on the front lawn. Please have your flags. Patriot Guard Riders is well received for this event, and it is an opportunity to send off Team Eva, which deeply cares for our veterans. You can go to website GoTeamEva.org for the daily run areas so that if you are close by you can cheer them on. There will be local press covering the event.
