About the Mission:

This 101 year old member of the "Greatest Generation" served honorably from January 1944 to December 1945 as a tank driver attached to the 747th Tank Battalion. He participated in actions in Central Europe, Normandy, Northern France and Rhineland. He attained the rank of Sergeant, being awarded the Purple Heart Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Euopean- African-Middle Eastern Service Medal, American Service Medal w/Bronze Arrowhead and World Warr II Victory Medal.

After his service, he was a butcher and then a landscaper. The family has requested Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor him.
