About the Mission:
This veteran honorably and faithfully served his country from January 1951 to January 1954. He was schooled to a be a tractor operator of Track Vehicles and spent 10 months overseas in Korea. He attained the rank of Corporal, being awarded a National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal w/2 stars and United Nations Service Medal.
After his service he became a Police Officer in Amityville, NY, which eventually became part of the Suffolk Police Department. He served in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd Precincts, Aviation Bureau and Marine Bureau, retiring in 1992. The family has requested Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor him.

Special Information:
Meet RCs Jim & Terry at administration parking lot. The procession has full Police escort and is only 15 minutes from cemetery so could arrive by 10:50am. Dress for the weather, as it is not known if it will be a chapel or gravesite ceremony service at this time.
