About the Mission:

Edward T. Coyne faithfully and honorably executed his duties to our nation in the US Navy from the time of his enlistment on 28 April 1943, until his honorable discharge at the rank of Seaman First Class on 16 February 1946.  For his service as a Plank Owner of the USS Intrepid, he was awarded the American Theatre Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal w/2 stars, Asiatic Pacific Theatre Medal w/3 stars, and the World War II Victory Medal.

After his military service, Mr. Coyne continued in service as a Federal Narcotics Officer and became Director of Customs of the Northeast Region.

His family requests Patriot Guard Riders participation in his final honors.
