About the Mission:
This veteran served his country honorably from March 1970 to March 1973. He spent spent 26 months in Germany attached to Company "C" USASAFS, USAR, EUR, with his specialty being in Electronic Warfare/Signal Intelligence. He attained the rank of SP5 and was awarded National Defense Service Medal, Expert Badge - Handgrenade, and Sharpshooter Badge - M-16.
Returning to civilian life, he became a Suffolk County Police Officer until his retirement. The family has asked Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor him.

After a dignified transfer, escort will take cremains to 1 pm mass at St Johns RC Church across the street from the funeral home. After mass, the escort will respond to Calverton.
