About the Mission:
Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to participate in the military honors funeral for MR3 James L. Poirier, Sr, - US Navy - Machinery Repairman Petty Officer Third Class.
James entered the US Navy in January of 1958 after having been a standout athlete at Mt. Pleasant High School. After graduating rom machine repair school in San Diego, he served his Navy career aboard the USS Bordelon destroyer.
Upon being honorably discharged he began his 30 year carrier at General Electric.

Second Stage - Special Information:
Upon escort arrival at cemetery, PGR to establish flag line at graveside for Dignified Transfer and military honors interment.
NOTE: Naval Military Honors team may not be present, at which point PGR will conduct a flag fold and presentation to the family. If anybody knows some one with a mechanical bugle and could make themselves available for this mission, that would be greatly appreciated.
