About the Mission:

The family of Edward A. Gordon, Sr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services.  Edward, 94, of Hudson Falls, passed away Thursday evening, October 16, 2025.

Ed was a 1950 graduate of St. Mary’s Academy in Glens Falls. For 41 years, he served in the National Guard until 1991, when he retired as a Sergeant First Class. 

His career started at General Electric Company in Hudson Falls and Fort Edward, in 1952. After 19 years with that company, he started working at Universal Medical Instrument Corporation in Ballston Spa where he worked for another 19 years. His final employment was at Steinbach in the Wilton Mall where he worked for five years.

Special Information:

Stage with a flag line for dignified transfer, then arrival of family and friends until the 10:00 Funeral Mass. Then after Mass, there will be a dignified transfer followed by escort to St. Paul's Cemetery, Vaughn Rd., Hudson Falls.
