About the Mission:
The family of Albert C. Huguley, Jr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Albert, 78, a longtime resident of Russell Street in Hudson Falls, passed away peacefully at his home, on Monday, April 21, 2025.
Born July 2, 1946, in Glens Falls, Sonny was a 1964 graduate of Hudson Falls High School. He entered the US Army on 1 December 1965 and was trained as a Radio Teletype Operator (MOS 05C20). He was assigned to Headquarters Company of the U.S. Army Europe (USAREUR) and Field Artillery Troops, and spent 1 year and 11 months overseas. He was honorably discharged on 1 November 1967 at the rank of Specialist 5th Class and for his service, was awarded a Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal and an Expert Badge (Rifle).
When he returned to the area, he worked with his father for Al Huguley & Son General Roofing as a Roofing Specialist and Steeplejack. After his career as a steeplejack, Sonny worked at Pfizer and Boston Scientific.
