About the Mission:
The family of William H. Sepkowski has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. William, 81, passed away on Saturday, October, 11, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Bill was born in Colonie, NY, was a 1962 graduate of South Colonie High School and spent his whole life in the area. After high school, on 25 July 1963, he joined the US Navy. He served on active duty for 2 years during the Vietnam War, including 1 year and 10 months aboard the USS Essex (CVS-9), an Essex-class aircraft carrier. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Seaman (E-3) on 14 July 1965, and completed his inactive reserve obligation on 18 March 1968.
Bill later attended Spencer Business School where he majored in Business, and started his own company; Software Plus Computers in Colonie. Services will be private and Bill will be entombed at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National VA Cemetery.
