About the Mission:
The family of Thomas J. Semago has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services. Thomas, 76, entered into eternal life on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's.
Born in McKeesport, PA, Tom was a graduate of Serra Catholic High School and Immaculate Conception Seminary. He began work on his master's degree at the College of St. Rose, but his studies were interrupted to complete his military service in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War Era. He was activated from the US Navy Reserve on 14 December 1971 to complete an accelerated Machinist Mate training class, and was returned to reserve status on 26 May 1972. His reserve obligation terminated on 3 November 1977. He earned the rank of Seaman Apprentice (E-2) and a rating of Machinist Mate Fireman Apprentice.
Tom was a seminarian, a teacher, a retail manager, he operated his own business for more than forty years, and most recently, a floor attendant at the Saratoga Casino.

Special Information:
Staging at the church with a flag line for the arrival of the funeral cortege. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 09:00 am, followed by dignified transfer and escort to St. Agnes Cemetery, Cemetery Avenue, Menands, NY 12204 for interment with military honors.
