About the Mission:
The family of Robert C. Youmans has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Robert, 89, of Charlton, passed away on September 21, 2025 at his home.
Born in Cape Vincent, NY, Robert (Bob) spent his childhood there. He graduated from High School in 1953, and enlisted in the United States Naval Reserve, serving for 6 years. He was drafted into the United State Army in 1958, and was honorably discharged in 1961.
After his service time, he was hired by the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake School System as an elementary teacher. He was a volunteer fireman in Charlton for 15 years and a member of the Burnt Hills Ballston Lake Rotary, serving as President for two terms.
