About the Mission:
The family of Paul M. Lyman, Sr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Paul, 87, of Ravena, entered into eternal rest with his loving family by his side on October 9, 2025.
Born in Albany, NY, Paul was a graduate of Philip Schuyler High School, Class of 1956. He enlisted in the US Marine Corps on 11 February 1957, and served on active duty with the 2nd Marine Division at Camp Lejeune, NC. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal on 8 February 1959, and completed his inactive reserve obligation on 20 August 1963.
After his military service, he was employed by National Lead in Albany, NY until their closure in 1979. After which, he worked at the Powell and Minnock Brick Yard in Coeymans, NY. Upon retirement, he was briefly employed by the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Community Library.

Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the last hour of Visitation, 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Following a funeral service, a dignified transfer will be conducted, followed by escort to and interment with military honors at Calvary Cemetery, 481 US-9W, Glenmont, NY 12077.
