About the Mission:
The family of Odin S. MacDavid has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his his military honors funeral services. Odin passed on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Albany Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Chicago, IL, Odin served his country with pride in the United States Army for six years. He was a proud member of both the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions, 506th Infantry Regiment the “Screaming Eagles". Over his career, he completed an astounding 322 parachute jumps from airplanes and even some from helicopters during his deployments. He later became an instructor at the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he took great pride in mentoring young cadets.
After his service, he built a career in the aviation industry with Northwest Airlines.
