About the Mission:
The family of Michael W. Nolan has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Michael, 89, of Hudson Falls, passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
Born on April 17, 1936, in New York City, Michael grew up in Yorkville also known as Germantown on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and attended Catholic school there. He entered the United States Army on 22 September 1954, and was trained as a Low Speed Radio Operator (MOS 050.00). He served for 1 year, 11 months and 20 days on active duty, including 1 year, 5 months assigned to the U.S. Army H/S Company, 47th Armored Infantry Battalion (AIB), in Germany. He was honorably discharged on 11 September 1956 at the rank of Private First Class, and for his service was awarded a Good Conduct Medal.
