About the Mission:

The family of Kenneth Alan Bornt has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services. Kenneth, 82, passed on Wednesday, 7 January 2026.

Born in Troy, NY, Kenneth was a graduate of Tamarac High School. He enlisted in the United States Army during September of 1960, and was trained as a Field Artilleryman (MOS 140.00). After training, he was assigned to Battery "B", 2nd Howitzer Battalion, 28th Artillery Regiment in Bad Kissen, Germany. He served for almost 3 years on active duty, including 2 years and 7 months overseas and was honorably discharged at the rank of Private First Class (PFC, E-3) on 10 September 1963. He completed his inactive reserve obligation on 21 September 1965, and for his service, was awarded: Expert Badges for 155 mm Howitzer and Small Arms (.45 cal.) and Sharpshooter Badge (Rifle, M-14).

After his military service, Kenneth was employed by Albany Frosted Foods. There is no obituary available at this time.
