About the Mission:
The family of Joseph John Wisneski has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Joseph, 80, passed on Tuesday, 21 October 2025.
Born in Panama City, FL, Joseph enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on 28 June 1966, during the Vietnam War. He was trained as a Rifleman (Specialty 0311), and spent almost 2 years on active duty. His time included a 9 month tour of duty assigned to Company "A", 1st Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division (Reinforced) which were primarily active in I Corps, the northernmost military region of South Vietnam, which included provinces like Quang Nam and Thua Thien. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal (E-4) on 24 June 1966, and for his service, was awarded a Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/1 Bronze Service Star and a Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/1960 Device.

Special Information:
Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the last hour of visitation, 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. At approximately 12:20 pm, members will render final honors and the plaque will be presented. The flag line will be re-formed for the dignified transfer, after which, members will make their way approximately 1 block to Holy Trinity Church and form a flag line for a dignified transfer. Once the church service begins, the mission is concluded. Interment will take place at a later date at the family's convenience.
