About the Mission:
The family of James Francis Reynolds has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his Celebration of Life and military honors funeral services. James, 50, passed on October 5, 2024 at Hartford Healthcare Hospital in Hartford, CT.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, James entered the US Navy during the Gulf War Era, on 2 November 1993. He served on active duty as a Seamanship Specialist (Primary Specialty 9700) until his honorable discharge on 1 November 1996 at the rank of Seaman (E-3). His time included 2 years and 8 months of Sea service aboard the USS Duluth (LPD-6), an Austin-class amphibious transport dock. For his service, he was awarded the Navy Battle Efficiency Award (2 awards), Sea Service Deployment Ribbon and an Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.
James was a dedicated driver for Coxsackie Transport for many years.

Special Information:
Staging at the Catskill Elks Lodge with a flag line for the arrival of family and guests. Members will form a flag line inside and stand during the Celebration of Life service scheduled to begin at 11:30 am. A PGR plaque will be presented during the event and, upon conclusion, members will join the family and process to the Catskill Town Cemetery, located directly behind the Elks Lodge and stand a flag line during the interment services with military honors.
