About the Mission:
The family of Ernest Carl Ziobrowski, Jr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Ernest, 87, passed away on December 17, 2025.
Born on January 6, 1938, in Schenectady, New York, Ernest was a graduate of Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons High School. He entered active duty in the United States Army on 31 August 1961, and trained as a Military Policeman. He served for almost 2 years, including 1 year and 7 months overseas, assigned to the 24th Military Police Company, 7th Army, in Germany. He was honorably discharged on 17 August 1963 at the rank of Private First Class (E-3), and for his service, was awarded a Good Conduct Medal, Marksman Badge (Carbine) and Marksman Badge (Rifle M-1).
Following his military service, Ernest dedicated 28 years to General Electric's Turbine Division, where he worked as a foreman. At the young age of 55, Ernie retired, embracing a well-deserved and fulfilling retirement. A full obituary is available for viewing online by clicking here
