About the Mission:

The family of Dwight James Nielsen has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in a celebration of his life. Dwight, 65, of East Greenbush, NY passed on 8 February 2021 in Florida.

Born in Albany, NY, Dwight was a 1974 graduate of Milne High School. He entered the US Marine Corps on 31 December 1974, and was honorably discharged on 12 June 1975. He later worked as a railroad engineer and was a proud member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Engineers.

Special Information:

Staging at the church with a flag line for the arrival of family and guests. Church services are scheduled for 11:00 am, followed by escort to the Joseph E. Zaloga American Legion Post 1520, 4 Everett Rd. Ext., Albany, NY 12205 where a Celebration of Life will take place.
