About the Mission:

The family of Donald J. Duprey, Sr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services.  Donald, 83, passed away with his devoted wife and loving family by his side on Saturday, January 18, 2025.

Don was extremely proud of his time in the United States Marine Corps.  He enlisted on 28 November 1958 and was trained as an Anti-tank Assaultman (Specialty Code 0351).  He served honorably for just over 4 years and was discharged at the rank of Corporal on 7 December 1962.  For his service, he was awarded the USMC Good Conduct Medal.

He was honored to be a proud veteran member of the American Legion Post 574 in Hudson Falls, NY. Don was also a life member of the Fort Edward Rescue Squad and served for many years as Captain. He loved volunteering for the Lake George Elvis Festival for fifteen years, attending various events.  Don was employed by the Hudson Falls Central School District for over fifty years, holding many different positions.
