About the Mission:
The family of Charles R. Levesque has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Charles, 97, passed on October 30, 2024.
Charles, better known as Charlie or Dick was born November 23rd, 1926. He proudly served his country during WWII, entering the US Navy on 1 May 1944. He served on active duty for just over two years, including time aboard the USS Teton (AGC-14), a Mount McKinley-class amphibious force command ship. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Seaman First Class on 23 May 1946 and for his service, was awarded; WW II Victory Medal, American Theater Medal, Asiatic Pacific Medal w/1 Star and a Philippine Liberation Ribbon.
After his military service, Charlie worked at McKinney Steel Co. in Albany as a master welder.

Staging at the church with a flag line for the arrival of family and guests. The honoree will already have been transferred inside. Church services are scheduled for 09:30 am, followed by escort to St. John's Cemetery, Sand Creek Road, Colonie. Click here for map
