About the Mission:

The family of US Navy Vietnam Veteran Robert T. Wiemers has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Wiemers passed 30 August 2025 surrounded by his family.

Robert entered the Navy on 25 February 1965, was trained as a Radio Operator and was assigned to the U.S.S. Constellation (CVR-64), a Kitty Hawk- Class Supper Carrier. He served 4 years on active duty, including 3 years and 8 months foreign, sea service. He was honorably discharged on 31 January 1969, and for his service to his nation was awarded; Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon, Navy Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic Of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/1960 Device.

Special Information:

PGR will enter Forest Lawn Cemetery at Delaware Ave. Gate to meet family and process to the chapel for the prayer service. After prayers, PGR will process to grave site for military honors and interment, This a very short notice mission. Please do what you can to support Mr. Wiemers and his loving family. Dress for the weather and bring water.
