About the Mission:

The family of Richard J. Bordonaro has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Bordonaro passed on14 January 2026, surrounded by his family at his home.

Mr. Bordonaro entered the US Army on 5 September 1953, and trained as a Radio Communication Specialist. He served his nation for 23 months on active duty, with 10 months of foreign/ Sea Service. He was honorably discharged as Private First Class (E-3) on 26 August 1955, receiving an Army Good Conduct Medal and Natioal Defense Service Medal.
