About the Mission:

The family of William G. "Jerry" Barrett has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Barrett passed on 8 January 2025 at 82 years old in Yuma Arizona.

Mr. Barrett proudly served his nation for 42 years in the Navy, Navy Reserves and in Buffalo, NY Coast Guard Reserves as Port Security Unit 301, retiring as Chief Petty Officer. Mr. Barrett was once again called to duty 14 September 2001 after the attack on the Twin Towers and The Pentagon, supporting Operation Noble Eagle. He worked at Alfred State College while in the reserves as University Chief Of Police receiving the Suny Chancellor's Award for Professional Service, retiring in 2004.

Special Information:

Members will form a flag line for arriving family and guests. After a Mass of Christian Burial and dignified transfer, PGR will escort Mr. Barrett and his loving family to White Cemetery in Rushford, NY for interment with military honors. Thank you for standing for our veterans. There are several missions this week. Do what you can to support them.
