About the Mission:

The family of US Air Force Veteran Thomas P. Hunt has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Hunt passed on 30 October 2025 at the age of 80.

Mr. Hunt entered the Air Force on 16 March 1966, and was trained as an Aircraft Instrument and Radio Navigation Repairman (AFSC 30154). He served his nation for 4 years on active duty, including a 12 month tour of duty in Vietnam.  He was honorably discharged as Staff Sergeant (E-5) on 15 January 1970, from the 436th Avionics Maintenance Squadron, Dover Air Force Base, Delaware. For his service he was awarded; an Air Force Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/1 Bronze Service Star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/1960 Device and a Small Arms Expert Marksman Ribbon.

Special Information:

PGR members will stand a flag line for arriving family and guests for Mass Of Christian Burial. After Mass and a dignified transfer, members will escort Mr. Hunt and his family to St. Joseph Cemetery, Batavia, NY 14020 for a military honors funeral service. There are other missions this week. Do what you can to support them.
