About the Mission:

The family of US Navy Veteran Paul F. Fulcomer has requested Patriot Guard Riders to participate in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Fulcomer passed on 30 October 2025 at the age of 78.

Mr. Fulcomer entered the Navy during the Vietnam War, on 3 August 1965. After his Basic Navy training requirements, he was sent to Vietnam as Radio Operator on a Swift Boat, Patrol Boat for Coastal and Brown Water River operations. He served his nation for 4 years on active duty, including a 26 month tour of duty in Vietnam. His last duty station was aboard the USS Walke (DD-723), an Allen Sumner-class destroyer. Petty Officer 3rd Class Fulcomer was honorably discharged on 24 July 1969 at Naval Station Long Beach, California. For his dedicated service to his nation he was awarded; Navy Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/1 Bronze Service Star and a Republic Of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/1960 Device.

Paul F. Fulcomer was Director of Orleans County  Veteran Agency, past Commander of VFW Post #1483, and Past Commander of American Legion Post #204.

Special Information:

PGR members will stand a flag line for arriving family and their hero. Military honors are at 1pm, followed by plaque presentation. Thank you for standing for our veterans. Dress for the weather.
