About the Mission:

The family of Vietnam Veteran Paul A. Mattuccilli, Jr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Paul passed 28 March 2025 at the age of 83 surrounded by his family.

He entered the US Army on 30 June 1969, serving his nation for 23 months active duty in Qui Nhon, South Vietnam as an Air Medic with the 67th Combat Support Hospital, attached to the 17th Calvary. Paul was honorably discharged at Fort Lewis Washington on 24 May 1971, and for his service was awarded; Army Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device and a Sharpshooter Badge (M-16).

After his military service, Paul worked at Carborundum Company in Niagara Falls, NY, retiring after 35 years.

Special Information:

Members will stand flag line for arriving family and guests. After prayers and dignified transfer, members will escort the family and Mr. Mattuccilli to St. Joseph Cemetery on Pine Ave., Niagara Falls. Do what you can to support Paul and his loving family. There are several missions this weekend, do what you can to support our heroes and their familys.
