About the Mission:
Patriot Guard Riders has been requested to be present for the military honors of this proud veteran. Mike passed unexpectedly Saturday 4/12/25 at 62 yrs old. Mike had 20 plus years of honorable service with the US Army. He retired as a 1st SGT Airborne Ranger. During his enlistment he earned many distinguished service medals, too many to list all of them here!
Michael was the successful owner of Romig’s Tavern and a special thanks to his Romig’s family and longtime customers. Romig's is very active and supportive of all veterans causes.

Special Information:
We will stage at the West (Dewey Ave) entrance to the cemetery and stand a flag line for the arrival of the funeral cortege. After they pass, we will follow to the committal building and stand an honorable flag line during military honors.
Our presence is planned to be a surprise to the family per funeral homes request. Please keep this information secure.
Bring your clean 3x5 American or Army flag and dress for the weather as we will be outside.
