About the Mission:

The family of US Navy Veteran Mark Wayne Janicki has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Janicki passed 29 June 2025 at the age of 77.

Mr. Janicki entered the Navy on 29 April 1975, at the age of 18. He was trained as DG-9700, Infantry Gun Crew/Seaman Specialist. He served his nation for 9 months, with 3 months Sea Service on the USS Sam Rayburn a Sam Madison Class Fleet Ballistic Missile Submarine. Mr. Janicki was honorably discharged at Washington Naval District Headquarters, Washington, D.C. on 2 April 1976.

After his military service, Mr. Janicki was a member of local Labor Union 210 of Buffalo, NY, and a volunteer for Elma, NY Fire /EMT Dept.
