About the Mission:
The family of Lewis P. "Louie" Levesque have asked Patriot Guard Riders to participate in honoring his military service and celebrating his life. Mr. Levesque passed on 07 March 2025 at the age of 88.
Mr. Levesque served three years, eleven months in the US Navy (1955-59), and was at sea for two years, eleven months. Mr. Levesque served at the rank of Seaman and a Rating of BT-4500, Boiler Technician (a.k.a. Fireman). His two years at sea were aboard the USS Gainard (DD-706), an Allen M. Sumner-class destroyer, part of the US Navy 6th Fleet, based in Naples, Italy.

Special Information:
PGR Members will form a flag line at the entrance to the funeral home in anticipation of the family arriving between 10:15am and 10:30am. We will hold the flag line until the beginning of services at the funeral home, expected at 11:00am. Following the services (approximately 11:30am), PGR members will participate in rendering honors with the military honor guard.
There is no escort nor cemetery involved in this Honor Mission.
Please come prepared with a clean 3x5 American or US Navy flag, and dress for the weather. Thank you for devoting your time to help honor Cold War veteran Lewis P. Levesque, and to support his loving family.
