About the Mission:
The family of US Air Force veteran Gary Francis Karl has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Gary passed 24 January 2025 at the age of 77 at the VA Medical Center in Batavia, NY.
He entered the Air Force on 1 April 1966, serving his nation for 4 years on active duty as anAircraft Maintenance Specialist (AFSC 43151A), including a 13 month tour of duty in Vietnam. Gary was honorably discharged at Mather Air Force Base, California on 31 March 1970. For his service he was awarded; Air Force Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device.
