About the Mission:

The family of US Navy Reserve Veteran Francis S. Lucca has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services.  Mr. Lucca passed at the age of 100 years old, surrounded by his family.

Born on 10 May 1925, Mr. Lucca entered the US Navy Reserve on 30 July 1949. He served his nation for 17 months attached to The 859th Attack Squadron, Navy Reserve Station, Niagara Falls, NY, Headquarters, 3rd Naval Station District, NY during the Korean War Era. Mr. Lucca was honorably discharged as Radioman (Navigation) Petty Officer 3rd Class (E-4) on 4 January 1951, receiving the National Defense Service Medal.

Special Information:

PGR will stand a flag line for arriving family and guests. After Mass of Christian Burial and dignified transfer, PGR will escort Mr. Lucca and his family to Mount Olivet Cemetery for military honors and interment. Dress for the weather and bring clean Navy flags if you have them. Thank you for supporting their hero and his loving family.
