About the Mission:
The family of Donald Gaines, Jr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Don passed on 30 September 2024 at the age of 71 with family at his side.
Born in Albion, NY on 7 July 1953, Don entered the Army on 30 June 1972 and served our nation honorably with the 101st Airborne Division, 5th Transport Division as a Power Equipment Repairman (62B20). He was discharged on 17 December 1973, and was awarded a National Defense Service Medal and Sharpshooter Badge (M-16).
