About the Mission:
The family of Donald Bontempo has requested PGR participation in the military honors funeral service for their father. Petty Officer Donald Bontempo served in the US Navy from August of 1961 until May 1965. His MOS was Hospital Corpsman, and he was stationed in the US Hospital in Chelsea, MA. He achieved the Rating of Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class (HM3), with a rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class (E-4). Please join me in honoring the service of this dedicated sailor.
The mission is a burial only. There are no calling hours or church services. The burial will be attended by Navy Honor Guard and Monroe County Legion Honor Guard. We will escort from the funeral home to the cemetery and stand an honorable flag line at both locations. The service will be inside of the mausoleum.

Special Information:
We will stage at 9:30 am to prepare for flag line for a dignified transfer to the hearse. We will then provide an escort to the cemetery where again we will stand a flag line during transfer, and military honors. If riding use caution. Cages with PGR markings or flags are encouraged. Bring your 3x5 clean US or Navy flag. Dress for the weather conditions.
