About the Mission:

The family of US Army Vietnam War Veteran Arthur P. Bykowicz has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Bykowicz passed with his family by his side on 27 September 2025 at the age of 83.

Mr. Bykowicz entered the Army on 25 March1964, serving his nation for 24 months on active duty as a General Warehouseman (MOS 56B20), including a 7 month tour of duty in Vietnam attached to the 59th Ordinance Company at Cam Rahn Bay. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Specialist 5 (E-5), at the Army Personnel Center, Oakland, California on 28 March 1966. For his service to his nation, he was awarded; National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/1960 Device and a Sharpshooters Badge (M-14).

Special Information:

PGR will stand flag line for arriving family and guests. After Mass and dignified transfer PGR will escort Mr. Bykowicz and family to Saint Stanislaus Cemetery for military honors and interment. Be safe and thank you for honoring our veterans.
