About the Mission:

The Suffolk County Veterans Service Agency, along with SAR Flag non-profit, is going to present the the Suicide Awareness & Remembrance Flag to the Gold Star families of MAJ Victor Gronenthal and SPC Anthony Martinelli at a ceremony that is bringing VFWs, Paws of War and many other groups together. This event is to keep the problem of suicide of veterans and active duty personnel in the public eye and to stem the stigma of seeking help. Patriot Guard Riders has been asked to stand a flag line for the arrival of the families.

Special Information:

Please bring your flags for a flag line and participation in the ceremony. Ceremony to start at 12 noon. Families arriving by 11:30. Want to have logistics set prior to arrivals.
