About the Mission:

Dashan Briggs and 6 fellow crew members of Jolly 51, their helicopter, were killed in action on March 15, 2018, while on a mission in Iraq. The Deshan Briggs Foundation holds a 5k run and 1-mile walk to raise funds in his name for student scholarships. The ceremony ensuing remembers the fallen heroes and then awards the runners. Patriot Guard Riders has been requested to stand a flag line for the beginning of the run and for the ceremony.

Special Information:

This is the old Grumman location. The entrance is the traffic light east of Calverton Cemetery. The run site is the first roadway on the left off the entrance road. This is the Eastern runway. Upon turning into the entrance, members will make the first right onto the taxiway and proceed to the first left leading onto the runway. We will be parking down by the show mobile. See RC Mike for instructions. Please bring your flags. Water will be on site.
