About the Mission:
This veteran honorably served his country from March 1951 to March 1954, serving 10 months in Korea. He was schooled as a Ground Electronics Maintenance Specialist and was awarded a Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal and a United Nations Service Medal. He attained the rank of Sergeant. After the service, he joined the Amityville Police Department retiring after 34 years there. He then joined the Amityville Fire Department.
The family has requested Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor him.

After a dignified transfer, escort will respond to St. Martin of Tours RC Church, 37 Union Ave., Ammityville, for a 9:30 mass. After mass, escort will respond to Amityville Cemetery.
