About the Mission:
This veteran honorably served his nation from August 1951 to July 1953 and was deployed to Korea. He was assigned to the 1844, Battery C, 143rd Felid Artillery Battalion. He attained the rank of Sergeant and was awarded Korean Service Medal w/2 Bronze Stars and the United Nations Service Medal.
He returned to civilian life and opened his business, Star Envelope Manufacturing, which he ran until larger corporations made it harder to compete. He was always proud of his country and took the family on many trips instilling a love of country in them. The family has asked Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor him
