About the Mission:
This veteran served his country for 25 years from 1951 t0 1976, including a tour of duty in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968. He attained the rank of Sergeant Major (E-9), and for his service, was awarded; a Silver Star Medal, Legion of Merit Medal, Bronze Star Medal w/"V" Device and 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, Purple Heart Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, 6th award, Meritorious Unit Award, Presidential Unit Citation, National Defense Service Medal w/1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Expert Infantrymans Badge, Master Parachute Badge, Republic of Vietnam Parachute Badge, Ranger Tab and Combat Infantrymans Badge. His campains included: RVN Counteroffensive III , TET Offensive, RVN Counteroffensive IV and RVN Counteroffensive V.
The familly has requested Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor him.
