About the Mission:

This soldier was serving her country as an active duty member of the United States Army when she tragically lost her life in a criminal incident. She has been promoted to Sergeant to honor her service to this country. She served three separate tours in Kuwait and Jordan. She was awarded Army Commendation Medal 2nd award, Army Achievement Medal 2nd award, Meritorious Unit Citation, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal 2nd award, Global War on Terror Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terror Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Army Reserve Component Overseas Training Ribbon, Armed Forces Reserve Medal w M Device and National Defense Service Medal.  Patriot Guard Riders has been requested by her Sgt. Major and the family to stand in honor this true American Hero.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

The funeral home is RG Ortiz from East Harlem. Friday is calling for snow so travel times could change. Scheduled to leave before 9am with escort by NY State Troopers. They could arrive any time from 10 to 11 depending on road conditions. We will receive a message when on road and progress prior to staging so we can get an idea of arrival.
