About the Mission:
This veteran honorably served his nation from 1962 to 1964 assigned to the 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He attained the rank of Private First Class and was awarded the Parachutist Badge. Upon separation, he worked as a motorman for NY City Transit and was also a life guard captain with NY City Dept. of Recreation. He trained swimmers at the Olympic Swimming school in Colorado and won many accolades for his abilities. The family has requested Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor their loved one.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
After a dignified transfer, procession will respond to St Martin of Tours RC Church, Union Ave., Amityville, for a 9:30 mass. After mass the procession will respond to Calverton.
