About the Mission:

Mr. McCafferty honorably served his country from 1967 to 1969 as a Lance Corporal in H&S Co. 2nd Bn 7th Mar 1st Marine Division. His mos was Anti assault man (Proof director small arms) serving in Vietnam. He was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal w/1 Bronze star, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/ device, National Defense, Service Medal, and Good Conduct Medal. The family has requested Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor this veteran.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

Please bring your flags. Closing prayers at 10 am and after a dignified transfer, we will escort to Shoreham for mass at 11 am.
