About the Mission:

The family of Raymond Sal Licata, Sr. has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services.

Raymond proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Specialist 4th class, and for his service was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device and Expert Ribbon, M-16 Rifle.

After his military service, Raymond worked as a Teamster and tractor/trailer driver for Entemann's Bakery.  Raymond was also a Gold Star Father losing a son as a result of the war in Afghanistan.  The family has requested we stand in honor of Raymond for his final services.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.


Special Information:

After a dignified transfer at the funeral home, we will escort past his 2 former residences in Holbrook before proceeding to Calverton National Cemetery.
