About the Mission:
This veteran honorably served his country as a combat engineer. He served from October 1966 to October 1969 with over eleven months in Vietnam. He was awarded the Purple Heart, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/ 60 device, 2 Overseas Bars, Marksman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, and National Defense Service Medal. He attained a rank of PFC. Upon discharge he went to work for Grumman Aircraft in Calverton, NY.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Bring your flags. After the dignified transfer, we will provide an escort to Calverton National Cemetery. Weather is possible showers.
