About the Mission:

This veteran faithfully served his country from August 21, 2012 to June 14, 2021. He was trained as a Combat Engineer with his last duty assignment being Marine Wing Support Squadron 372, Marine Aircraft Group 39.  He served overseas being deployed to Afghanistan for Operation New Dawn. He attained the rank of Sergeant and was awarded: Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal (2 awards), National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (with 1 campaign star), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, NATO Medal (ISAF Afghanistan), Expert Rifle Qualification Badge (2 awards) and Marksman Pistol Qualification Badge.

The family has requested Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor him for faithful service to this country.

The funeral home asked escort to be at the funeral home at 11am when service ends. They expect a large crowd for this veteran, so it will take a little time for dignified transfer, hopefully departing abpprox. 11:40, possibly sooner, to escort to Calverton.
