About the Mission:

The family of WWII Army veteran Louis V. Forte has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his life and service. Mr. Forte served our nation honorably from April 1943 until February 1946 as an Automotive Mechanic (MOS 014) and achieved the rank of Technician Fifth Grade (Tech5). He was assigned to the 466 Military Police Escort Guard Company and served in the Central Pacific Theater of Operations. For his service he earned the American Service Medal, Asiatic Pacific Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.

PGRNY had the privilege to participate in Mr. Forte’s 99th and 100th birthday celebrations in February of this year and last year.

It is time for us to stand and honor Mr Louis V. Forte, who stood to protect the freedoms we enjoy today!

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Stage at funeral home for dignified transfer and escort to Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church
Please have your 3x5 US or Army Flags
